Take a look at THIS contraption...

If we can figure out how to hang hooks on it and make them cheap enough, I think we might have just discovered next years hot new bait:

Dude, I want to see PETA run one of those suckers by my boat. I WILL catch it, and it won't be released. Can you say billy club between the eyes. LOL

I just wonder how many of 'em are gonna get smashed by hungry muskies.

I tell you what, I'd love to blow a few holes in one with a .38 and take it over to the dude running it and say "sorry about your toy, man. I didn't know what the hell it was but I figured it would probably kill anything that tried to eat it..."

I tell you I don't know what more frightening, the fact that there are people out there that do this stuff or the fact that there are other people out there stupid enough to send them money...

Sounds like an invasive species if I've ever heard of one...

I like the looks of that Charteuse and Aqua school of muskie food in the one picture. I'm going to try that pattern.
I'd like to snag it with a lure, and then have the ower come running down to the dock and start screaming as I do a little stomp and release.
You know, I bet that subjecting fish to that much predatory noise would probably damage their hearing and their lateral lines, besides turning them all into paranoid perch's that would require years and years of psycotherapy. I have to believe that those things must contain something that is known to cause cancer in ratasses in California too, so wouldn't peta be polluting?
I think that I'm going to buy some of those "Private Property-No Fishing" signs and put them at every boat ramp that I go to.
Will peta be protesting the annual spearing ritual this year, or do they skip that because the lawyers from the ACLU told them to remember to maintain their ultra-liberal front.
We should ask them for donations to our auctions this year because we promote stocking fish to help renew the natural resources that have been decimated by the good for nothin' people who settled in this country. Slamr, get on that one.

Fish Empathy Project. Hilarious. I gotta admit. I love that name.

But where's the empathy? What about all the sub-surface psychological problems inevitably caused by these demonic robofish? Everyone knows how sensitive fish can be. This could easily result in generations of fish suffering from conditions like low self esteem, depression, impotence, eating disorders, schizophrenia, etc. Is there a fishy health insurance to cover years of therapy for our scaley friends?

Kevin

The plan takes into account the psychological well being of the fish.

Just when you thought is was safe to go back on the water. I wonder how many of these idiots would starve to death rather then eat a poor fish. I also would like to see them try to discourage the Alaskan Brown Bear from hurting the precious fishies. I'd have to get video of that. Now that would be "REALITY" television.

It would be illegal in Utah. We have a law that makes it illegal to harass sports men and women engaged in the lawful pursuit of fish and game.

PETA: Fish are Friends, Not Food
Worrall: Crappies die pretty easy if you bap them good between the eyes with a hammer handle. They are yummy.

PETA:Deer are wonderous kind creatures and are our friends, Hunting is murder.
Worrall: Where Bambi goes, NOTHIN grows. When I see a deer interacting with it's social group ( as in kicking a fawn near to death to keep food for itself in the winter), I see 50# of grillable wonder. REALLY yummy.

If cows were running around wild I'd shoot those too.

Squirrels are lucky they are so small.

Rabbits are VERY good stewed or in the crock pot; heck, I even like 'em fried. Every year I hope I get the freaking Easter Bunny, a truly weird and wonderful social enigma. I'll know when I do, the bugger will taste like chocholate and marshmallow.

I would catch the stupid robofish and put it on my mantle. I do bnelieve those good folks have finally lost their minds. What the heck is a 'predator sound'?? The smacking sound folks make when approaching a Mickey D drive in window?

I can hear the pain expressed by those tomato plants all the way over here in Minneapolis. Tomatoes are our friends. Potatoes are not, Norm has to do something for a living.

Gotta get me one of those fish are our friends T shirts....and wear it fishing crappies. It might just fool the bigger, smarter ones into taking the jig.
