when making a poe, or some thing on that line? do they lay flat or tail dwon in the water for more walk. or what is best.

I have found that tail down a little makes the head ride up in the water making the bait turn better, A flatter sitting bait if it is light, will tend to glide out a little more . A heavier lower sitting bait will tend to turn in place a little better. I like mine to be a little heavier set a little lower in the waterwith the tail down a little from added weight near the tail. the weight near the tailcauses the whip effect that gives you the swoosh averyone likes....Doug
