Location: Tinley Park. Fish Cen IL. Bass & Vilas Cty.Muskie | My neighbor has about 4 Magic Maker shaped baits for sale($10/piece- $35/4).2 are probably wood magic makers. I really am lacking on these shaped baits(would you call them glides? )There is one that has a redhead / white body and has 2 fins painted on the side of the bait. 1 is in the bottom middle and the other is maybe 1/2 inch from the end of the bait at the bottom also. Can you give me any guesses as to what the name of the company might be ? Would you pay $10 for a wooden magic maker or should I just buy a newer quality $20 ( Panfish type glide)bait instead of the old magic makers ? Any ideas of this magicmaker shaped bait with the fins could be ? Thanks for your educated opinions. Roy |

| If they actually are Magic Makers in unused or very good condition $10 is a pretty good price. |

Thanks Pete, That is what I figured as a novice Muskie fisherman. I have educated myself on this site(Thanks!) and especially with the Magic Maker post in Classifieds, I thought I could not go wrong with buying some good old wooden baits glide baits that my buddy offered me a month ago. I just obessed to find out what that glide with the painted fins is. I guess the best way would be buy it and bring it to my next Muskie meeting. Have a BIG Fish 2006. |
