| Hey, I'm going to plan a trip in Canada or the US this summer, and these are the things I would like to see..
Lots of Muskies, some trophy size, say over 48" but not necessarily the biggest fish in the world
Good to GREAT walleye fishing, I eat Walleyes
REALLY good Pike fishing, I like Pike too
OK to really good smallmouth fishing
Not too terrible pressure
Drive to the resort launch the boat go fishing
Good people running the resort who will care if the dock power quits
priced for two guys at under $800 a week
Any suggestions? |

Location: Washington, PA | If you're looking in NW Ontario, check out www.indianpointcamp.com Great people, a shot at a supertanker, the BIG northerns will keep you busy all day, and some jumbo smallies and walleyes also.
If you're looking east, I'd recommend the Kawarthas for great action muskie water, supposed to be good for eyes and smallies also, but I really wouldn't know first hand about the walleyes. The only down side is there are no pike in that system. |

Location: Pittsburgh, pa | I would also suggest the kawarthas. I stayed on pigeon lake at Green Acres. The owners are terrific people. I hope to make it there again myself this year. Heres some info. Hope it helps.

Location: Eau Claire, WI | Sounds alot like Lake of the Woods to me. July is busy but most other months the pressure is considerably less. NW Angle area has everything your looking for as does Sabaskong Bay area. With all press the Angle has gotten over the last few years (and rightly so), Sabaskong Bay pressure has lightened up. Both areas offer what your looking for and both have many options when it comes to resorts. |
