Well it is the law where I fish.
Not a request.
Sundown to sunrise, lights must be on.

Running, at anchor, swiming, fishen, playing with your boy friend or making the old women smile.
They should be on so people know what the hell they might run into.

I have heard a bunch of excuses why people don't like lights on at night.
Brings in the bugsBugs.
Scares fish away man.
Hurts my eyes.
Wear down power.
Alerts others to hot spot.

Bull#*#*.
Turn them on, or get a nice fine and invite more for other things your not doing right on boat side inspection.
Maybe lose your rig in 2006.

It is a law in Minnesota to have light on when on the water after sunset.
All reasons one comes up with aganist this law should go to DNR.
But for now it is part of the challange, deal with it and turn them light on and keep them on.

Big brother is a watching...real close.

Good post! Please keep those lights on at night.
I usually cruise across the lake at night (quickly) watching my GPS and glance up to see if I can spot any lights in the distance. I really hate it when you don't see any lights and then all of a sudden someone turns their lights on and you have to take immediate action as not to cut their boat in half with yours. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.......

A buddy of mine got a ticket for it this summer and forgot to pay his fine.He now has a warrant issued for his arrest and his fishing/hunting priveledges have been suspended.He has to run around like a nut getting it all taken care of now.Not worth it. Steve
