As some of you may have seen on the General Discussion board, I put up a question about your perfect crankbait (components/design). A lot of people said it needs to be made of plastic. I have access to a few blanks from a professional carpenter and was thinking about building a few cranks, or at least trying. But I am curious as to how I would build plastic baits? Where/how do I get the material? What is involved in making plastic baits? Thanks!

I know they sell a plastic foam. My brother had some and made some really cool lures. He picked it up from an industrial company. I don't remember which one.
