ok so here's the deal: i have gone to Ojibway Outfitters on Lac Seul for the last 4 years. The fishing is outstanding for walleye but we just can't seem to find the muskies or the large northers. Usually, from my experience with walleye fishing, one in a while you will get into a decent sized norther, say 35 plus. Here, our biggest northern is 37 i believe and we have not boated a muskie yet. There are usually about 8 people in our group and we all cast pretty hard sometime during the trip while one guy casts every day for half the day. Now i know there are muskies up here and BIG ones along with BIG northerns. We saw 2 muskies last year that were 45 plus that came right up to the boat but wouldnt hit. Have any of you had luck on Lac Seul fishing for muskies, please share any information you are willing to as far as baits, what kind of structure and times you fish. I would really appreciate it and Id like to start catching some muskies!
