Last time I spoke to them they were still working out some details. They had hoped to have them for chicago but got held up. Mike assured me he would not put them out untill they were the way he wanted them and if anyone got the chance to see the video, the action is awesome to say the least. He is hoping to have them done soon and no doubt they will be worth waiting for. I will have some in my boat this spring and look out, I think this is going to be one of the hottest baits of the season.....Doug Bradley

No doubt, I am sure they will be well worth the wait. I hated being teased at the Chicago show.

I just heard from Murph and he echoed the same thoughts. Mike will not release them till they are just 'right'. He said a few could be ready for the Milwaukee show but Mike was not sure. At any rate, I will be patiently waiting their release as well.

Thanks for the info.

If they work for me and I see and hopefully catch fish on them they won't go to ebay.

I know how many guys love these lure without the twist. I've caught quite a few skis on Reef Hawgs, they were my favorite for a while, but I like gliders with a more pronounced side to side motion, and I also like lures that I don't have to soak to make them split to get them to do what I want them to, even though some guys swear by the soaking technique. Are they going to be weighted? Seems like a lure that runs as shallow as a regular Hawg would be too light to have a tail on it without really killing the side to side action. Or is it going to have a small tail? Which came up last year as being a better way to maintain the gliding ability of a lure instead of using large tails, creating too much drag and restricting the lure's action.
Anybody have a picture of what they are going to look like?

hello. every one these are awesome baits i love my reefhawgs . the problem at hand is the density of the plastic . when we get the right compostion we want we expect to achive an even better action as well as the over all durability. they will not... be avialable till every thing is 100% to specks as we want it. i will make a call in a few min to mike to see if he has any new news and i will let you know if any thing good is to come of it. take care. and thanks for the hawg support.
