Location: Norway		Hi
Me and my wife are going to visit some friends in NY. And being a fishaholic, I have to check out oportunities Im mainly interested in freshwater fishing, any pointers would be great.
Also, with the stiff tackle prices here in Norway, Id also like to visit some tackleshops, to buy some gear, any tips/info would be great here also!

Location: Norway		I think we are staying in Manhattan. Dont know how much time I will get, to explore..anything (its a late honeymonn :P) But Id like to be prepared. Oh and were going in April.

If your staying in Manhattan you have a few options, for Freshwater fishing it would be quicker to go to the New Jersey side of the Hudson. Lots of streams and lakes to fish. However Manhattan is surounded by Saltwater and its easy to get a Charter boat or Party boat from the city. Pat

There is excellent muskie fishing within 45 minutes of Manhattan...I live here and get out on the water a few times a week...april is a great time...perhaps we can get you out for a day...Ben Remer [email protected]
