I recently stripped down one of my baits to repaint but didn't think through it very well and don't have paint for it...I want to paint it Bumble Bee Color (black stripes on a yellow back ground)...where do I get paint to paint such a bait...it is plastic material and is 13 inches in length...I have an airbrush and drying rack set up I just don't know where to get paint and envirotex to cover the bait with...I think I found a link to the envirotex but I don't know it is is the right stuff...any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Walmart has some hooby paint, if you want good paint, you'll probably have to order it. Createx auto is what alot of guys use. E-tex is available @ menards, by the Varnish.

Don't have to order that stuff online unless you really want to.

If you have any type of a good hobby shop around, I'm talking about the ones that have the buildable remote controlled race cars and planes (the expensive ones) etc, you should be able to get the Createx Paints. They should have both the regular and the AutoAir. If not try craft stores. They usually have just the regular Createx, not the AutoAir.

As far as the E-Lite, I've gotten my last two batches from TrueValue. I would suggest getting a small package to see how much you use up first. It doesn't take much mix to do a single bait. I've found that once you open the bottles they will go bad. It takes a while but after it gets old the stuff doesn't want to harden quite like it should. Remember the key to mixing the stuff is equal amounts. If you have a Menards around, they carry the stuff too but only in the larger packages. They have it in the paint section.

Go to Hobby Haven, in Des Moines. They have everything you need. Tester paint, Etex, paint for plastics. Good Luck Doug
