Posts: 158 Location: Eagan, MN | Good idea Crash, Topper Stopper - Why? I don't know really. It was one of the first baits I bought when I started muskie fishing back in '92, and have caught some nice muskies on them. They're a little different than tail spinning topwaters, so that can't hurt. Jackpot - Why? They're fun, and they seem to work when nothing else is moving fish. A lot of people say they lose too many fish on jackpots, but I haven't really found this to be the case for me, maybe because I manage to lose fish on every bait possible. I lost the last five hookups I've had on BUCKTAILS so that tells you where I'm coming from. Topraider - Why? Just a good all around bait, a confidence bait for me that seems to move fish. Marv's Hairy Bug - Why? Probably my favorite topwater bait, kind of chore to throw, but great big profile, hooks fish well. I use it a lot for night fishing. If the prop snags a floater I just pop it real hard and usually that clears it. These are the only four topwaters I usually carry.

Posts: 364 Location: Kentucky | Pacemaker - great noisy prop bait and caught my first topwater fish and also my biggest on it. Bitten Baby Shaker - expensive but great durable noisy creeper style bait. Creeper (Slammer) - awesome bait and who doesn't get chills hearing the "blup blup blup" coming to the boat? Doc - I've tried a ton of the zigzag baits and like this one best. TopRaider - I like the addition of this prop bait to the list. Gotta have it.

Weagle, moves a ton of water and big fish like it Hoosirehandmademuskybait 9" shad glider, big rattle, moves big water, I really like it. H20 tackle da rat, a slow mover, moves water and fish don't miss it.

Posts: 686 Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | The right topwater for the right conditions, sometimes it's just a feel but the topwaters that see action in my boat are super and regular topraiders, weagles, hawg wobblers, pacemakers, mag low riders, buzzbaits for good measure such as Thornes custom Boogermen, I found a Hi Fin teasertail floating out on Big Arb about 15 years ago that has put many fish in the boat thru the years and has become a fan favorite......... Colors to me are not too important, dark and or light in general. Speed kills at times yet sometimes slow and subtle...................... pick up a topwater and have faith, mix up the variables and get the net!!!!!!

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | Slammer Thunderhead in waves without limit. I moved fish in 3' breaking waves Hawg Wobbler in calm waters Top Raider in all wave conditions in between I have a new TY Sennett bait that has three segments with a globe style blade on the middle section. I have heard it in the pool show at the Tri-Esox Show and it makes a hellacious racket. The muskies should hit just to shut it up!

Posts: 2024 | Top Raider - easy to tune, runs well at slow speeds, good calm water bait. Mag. Stomper - better for waves TR can't handle, much more buoyant, excellent wobble, can be fished faster. Hawg Wobbler - clack clack clack clack, need I say more? Phat Boy - bite sized, moves a good amount of water, can be used as a search bait, easy to slow down and work in place Nimmer Swimmer - can't wait to throw this bad boy, what a sound!!!!!
