The show was packed today! I'd bet the crowd represented the largest one day attendance on record.

What's new:
My Lax Goon Muskie is done. I'll be picking it up after the Milwaukee Muskie Expo. It looks GREAT!

Suick is featuring some really cool new paint jobs.

Muskie Innovations has a series of new lures available

Fudally Tackle has a new all soft plastic Reef Hawg, really a cool lure.

Shimano has a new series of Muskie rods out that top out at 8'.

Musky Armor by Chad Cain is out. Shoes that are waterproof, and gloves to protect one's hands from gill raker cuts and scratches. Affordable!!

Musky magic has a couple new baits out, NICE stuff.

Musky Mayhem acquired Eagle Tail, and had a great display of Show Girls and Cow Girls spinners there too.

Richard Collin had his Trophy Muskie Guide booth there, BIG fish.

Steve Jonesi is excited about his new Muskie Mojo tackle company, Wabulls and Weagles

Slammer tackle has a new line of cranks and gliders, cool custom colors

Drifter and ERC were there. Sorry about the lack of pictures on this one.

Nils Master had a booth, good looking muskie lures!

We met some folks from from Pennsylvania, Canada, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the far reaches of the globe including Chico, who flew in across the Ocean from Europe!!

Thorne Bros. had a great display

Smokey's had a GREAT display including some hard to find colors and baits. If it's muskie, they have it.

Rollie and Helens was there in force.

More Later!!!!!

Yup, it was a great show today. Bucher casting lures in the pool, great booths and guides. I was there for 7 hours, bought great things. Check out Gregg Nimmer's new suick style bait, 5 lures in one.

I went on Friday for the first time and there was still a lot of people. I think they outgrew the location a long time ago...

Why was I out buying light fixtures and ceiling fans when I could have been stocking up the musky arsenal??? Looks like the show as usual was a great time, lots of great pics Steve, hope to make the Milwaukee show.

The show was great this year, well attended with excellent exhibits and seminars. Look here for MuskieFIRST Radio Interviews:

To those of you who missed the chance to attend the Chicago Show, there's still the Medina Extreme Show, the Milwaukee Musky Expo, the Chicago Extreme Show......

You can't really compare the shows. The Tri-Esox has been around for 11 years and is well established. The Extreme show has only been around for 2 years and is still growing. The Tri-Esox show is a great show, but I also think the Extreme Shows are great and will grow with time. If you love muskies like I do, I would attend both, they are set two months apart, so they really aren't in competition with each other. Both are great shows for musky lovers and I would recommend going to both.

Rob's correct. I attended the Extreme shows last year, and all were alot of fun, and had reasonable attendance for what can only be considered a 'new' show circuit at the time. I expect the Chicago Extreme show to grow every year.
