| i got some good loot! rod balancer and some leaders weighted squirrely Burt ($3 at the swap!) thumper tail 12" Hawg Teaser custom DDD squirrely Ernie weighted custom Bobbie Shimano Chronarch reel custom 8' Diamondback by Pro Edge rods (awesome job Keith!!!) Frabill net and lure retreiver what a great time...although not a ton of really "new" must-haves this year, it's still awesome to wander around and soak it all in. plenty of deals if you search for 'em and great color selections. got to meet a bunch of people i'd only seen in pictures on M1st. hanging out at the swap and sharing stories over a beer was the highlight! Rich D and Rich W convinced me that trips to Utah are over-rated, so now i've got to take a trip for river fishing in PA!!! Posts: 1185 Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | Oceanwave's for $100 from Musky Armor. Musky Innovation's new Bullhead, Sucker and Perch. They look better then a Huddleston Deluxe and 1/2 the price. Had Heiting, Bucher, Shumway, Sabota, and Herbie sign my old Musky Masters book. That is really cool. Bought the book, Greatest Musky Stories Ever Told. Jonesi set my brother up with a ABU Record. Thank you Steve! Wish I could have afforded one, on the top of my list. For the C & R Club: 4 DVD's, Muskie Town, Fish Cleaning Made Easy, Saric's - Precision Musky Presentations, and Heiting's - Trophy Musky Triggers. Also, Bait package from Hellraiser and Fudally's. Set up Russ Warye to speak at our November meeting. Confirmed that Howie Meyer and Rodd Umlauf are coming to our banquet. I would like to thank everyone that helps out our club. Got to see Bucher tossing in the pool until I almost passed out from the heat and had to vacate. Got to see many long distant friends. Got to eat the best pizza in the world at Geno's East with a bunch of great friends....ya even including Todd. A very long day to leave home at 5am and return at 10:30pm but well worth it! | ||

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I was at the show all weekend and only made two purchases. I also partook in the $100 Ocean Waves at the Musky Armor booth. Got some of the gloves for clients also. I also ordered a reproduction from Joe Fittante. Kind of funny, he and I are both from Antigo and I wait until we are in Chicago to order it from him. Must be easier to drive 300 miles than 3. No baits, rods or reels for me, but I still put a big dent in the pocketbook. | ||

| Sorry about that Happy Hooker. The bait is just not perfected yet. I guess it will be like the Super Topraider...coming soon, coming soon, coming soon- then finally perfected. The problem is with the blades on my tailbaits have so much resistance, they are constantly fighting eachother and that is where I am running into problems. However, I do have coming out at the MN Extreme show a larger version of the Fish Stick that is sure to rock...especially in huge waves. They will only be available at my booth or through me. Let me know if you would like any? Say...how did you do on my Chopper? Any pics? | |||
