Arrived at the Kinkaid ramp about 2:00am Monday to howling coyotes. 41/2 hours later woke up to very sunny sky's. Trolled and casted from sun up till sun down. NO fish,,,
Tuesday I woke up to cloudy over cast sky's. Trolled and casted again from sun up till sun down. Different result,, 2 fish trolling 33"&34", and 1 34" casting. Then drove home 61/2 hours, and to think some of us actually think this is fun....[]
For the second time I saw a deer going for a swim,,, also there were a few eagles, what a beautiful lake.

Doc,
I almost went to E.G. Monday they were calling for cloudy sky's,,, was it? Also 1/2 the travel,,, temps were 43 in the head waters and 41 near the dam. Trolling (spoonplugs) speed was varied and didn't see any preference, 4-8mph. Casting jump type baits hopped fairly fast.
