| Which is a better bait?They both look good but i never hear talk on the live action always the dog. |

| MuskieE, I have both bats and they are both different. The live action sinks fast and is basically an up and down jigging type of a bait. The bulldawg has more of a wobble and side to side and a slower fall. I hope this helps some.[:)] |

| I have had about the same sucsess on both. But I do a different retrieve than most. What I do is real them slow (just enough to make the tails move) and use a straight retrive. When doing this I have also found you dont get the traditional strike. It seems like the line goes slack, so start realing fast until you feel resistance then set the hook. This works great for suspended fish on slow, hot days.

| hi. i have used both of them with equal time on the water. and i have made choice to stike with the bull dawgs. i am a hard core bulldawg user they are my crack so to say.my number one reason i choose to stick with them is the longgevity is greater with them over the joe's and there are many more options for customizing them as well where the desing of the joe doesnt allow for that. also the bulldawg is much more controlable than the joe you have more ways to work it in diffrent sittuations. and the rubber holds up much better its harder and if it gets sliced up just fill it in with super glue gell and your good to go in a few seconds. you cant beat a bulldawg on high pressure systems and cold fronts.
