I have never bothered trying any of the different line dressings or treatments. Anyone have any experience with any of the different products? I think it would be worth the added expense if it extends the life or performance of line. Looking for opinions, thanks in advance.

I’ve had Blakemore Reel Magic on fluorocarbon and mono, and it seems to help a bit with memory control. Have never used it with braid for Muskies.

I've heard of using a bow string wax on braid, especially for fishing in cold weather. Not sure if it helps but I'll try it on a couple of reels this fall. Think I still have some in my archery bench downstairs.

I've used line cleaner on a fly rod.

I’ve used kvd line treatment for years now. Always use it on floro when I’m winter time fishing for smallmouth or trout. Last few years I have used it when I get new line on my musky stuff, seems to help soften up new braid. For newer line I just use a handful of sprays on the spool the night before I go out, once the line is broken in I don’t use it anymore
