Hello, I just put a power handle on an older ct400 because the ratio is a bit slower than I like...does it make a difference? It does seem to make the reel wobble a bit, but that is just reeling it with no line or anything on it. It is being used on a 7'10" diamonback magnum minnow rod by dadson rods... it will used to through grandma..jakes...and the like...any experience with the power handles on these rods...Ben

I use one on my 400, have for years.

I really like it for cranks and bucktails, makes reeling easier for baits with drag.

I usually palm that reel or use the foregrip, so I don't notice much wobble when I'm fishing. If I was using it by holding the handle and using the "trigger" on the reelseat I'm sure it would wobble a lot.
