Does any one recommend a boat cover maker in the Milwaukee-Waukesha area. I have an Esox Magnum with a Suzuki four on the back. I'm looking for someone to build a cover.

Sorry, can't help you in that area, but I can say that Chris Erwin at Southside Upholstery in Ashland, Ky. makes awesome covers at affordable prices. Check out his website at www.kentuckyangling.com and tab down the index to boat covers, you can see his work. He's repairing the cover for my Gambler now. He is right on your way to Cave Run. m

Talk to these guys: http://www.boatcovers.com

I have bought two covers from them, and my brother has bought a cover or two off of them as well.

They are really good covers and are custom made to fit your boat. They will find what what size motor you have, what side your trolling motor is on, etc... so they can add extra strong fabric around those areas.

They are really great people, you get your custom boat cover very quickly.

These are the same people that make the "factory" Lund covers. They are high quality for sure.

Hope this helps.

I got a guy in Chicago that made mine for my tuffy renegade. He is real good and his craftsmenship is exellant, but the cost is a little high than most. He builds the cover low to the boat for better trailering. Mine fits like a glove. Since we have relativly the same boat my cover cost 600. He actually made custom bags for trolling motor, the kicker and the shift handle to keep the cover low. There is a 10 warranty on materials and a 2 years warranty on work. He uses aquannolan with kevlar stiching.

Custom Faberkin in Fond du Lac makes a great cover, and priced pretty decent. It takes just 2 days.

Had a Esox Ltd. and I went through the Tuffy dealership in Wauconda, IL. for the cover. If I remember correctly there was a guy they used to make all of the covers. It was a great cover though. Fit nicely and was built to last.

I don't even know if that dealership is still open though.

This guy makes what I feel is the best cover around. He made a cover for my Esox Magnum and now for my new Lund. Both covers fit perfect and the quality and price cannot be beat. I would highly recommend him. He is about 45 minutes west of Milwaukee right off the freeway.

What kind of price are you talking for an Esox Mag?? The cover I have now came from Menards and has held up great for 2 years but I can see myself looking fot a cover again again in a year or 2.

Got the cover from boatcover.com. It took 5 days to get. The cover fits great, the cost was around $300.00. They were great to work with and the cover is a type of vinel. It will stand up to rain.
