Using Buck Perry's spoonplugs and trolling with. Some of the Cap City MI guys are getting real good short line trolling the weed edges. I know Rollie & Helenb's has them.

Google the term "spoonplugging". It's more than just the lures - Buck Perry coined (I think) the term "structure" as it relates to fishing and established theory on fish movement and activity.

Find his "Spoonplugging" book and read it. Then read it again, and again... I've read it two or three times now and I'm still not sure I totally understand the concepts.

Perhaps that's why I don't catch many fish....
