Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Im pretty sure that Kevin Mahlberg and his son doubled up to win the event. Congrats boys. I think a 44.5 was caught by Curtis/Gagliano. Joel and Matt got a 35.5 and one that was just short of 34. Thats all I know for now. I was only able to fish one event this year, but am looking forward to fishing the entire trail next year. Great even put on by a good group of guys. Had a blast with everyone. Looking forward to seeing the final results posted.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Zac was told he no longer gets an allowance. I believe Zac got the 36. How cool is having a a couple of 70 year old brothers win the second last event and a father/son team win the last.

Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Yes, Zach did catch the bigger fish. He did a great job, playing the fish like a pro. It was my net job that scared me. I kept thinking to myself, man, who taught this kid???
I told him he should save his new found wealth to pay his own entry fees from now on!
What a great day on and off the water. One we definitely won't forget. |
