Posts: 32890 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I cut and hauled firewood, winterized the Hideout, and winterized my rigs this weekend, no fishing for me. It is over up here. looks like, with temps in the single digits at night coming for a couple weeks. A warm up now would be cool, but things don't look good. Muskyboy and ToddM were at the Hideout this weekend, thanks for visiting with us and for the great conversation, Sue and I enjoyed the company! How did George treat you today in the snow and wind? How did the Muskies behave for you this weekend? Pictures, stories? Those white streaks are snowflakes, by the way... Attachments ---------------- DSCF0010.JPG (76KB - 54 downloads)

Posts: 578 Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | I had the GREAT pleasure of sharing a boat with Joe Junion and Roger Watters on Saturday. Joe stuck a beautiful 45 1/2"er and I lost one. Cold here and snow is coming down steady now here in Rhinelander at 2:15 Sunday afternoon. It is done; stick a fork in it. Now to try for a couple of deer starting next weekend. Its been fun, Chuck

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | I went out Sat am for about 3 hours and can honestly say it was the only bad day on the water this year . When I arrived, the wind picked up out of the northwest - no real big deal, but wind is not the norm here, so what the fish do is kind of a mystery to me still. So I try some protected spots first; trolling, so I can make use of 2 lines as I am by myself. I go no more than about 300 yards and the clicker starts to sing...too steady though, and about the same speed as the boat...snagged. Clear the other line and head back to get me favorite baby DR...oops a little too much pressure and snap - that one is sacrificed to the muskie gods. Oh, but it gets better . I re-rig and decide to troll some open water for suspendos...no luck. So I decide to try the windswept shore; all alone, 2 lines - hindsight tells me that was too much for a novice troller. Anyway, I hook up on bottom again, zzzzzzzz SNAP! Rod holder breaks and down goes my rod, what remains of the rod holder, and my relatively new Diawa line counter. . Uh, they don't float...I tried to dredge it up w/ diving lures, but no luck. I decided to go home before I sustained any personal injury. Bruised and battered egos are bad enough! As I was loading the boat the wind quit. I am so glad that day is out of the way - nothing but smooth sailing and good fortune for me until ice up! Sorno Looking forward to a whole day on the water Tuesday. *Nice work Brad! Edited by sorenson 11/13/2005 2:10 PM

went out with Lambeau friday and saw three fish with a few making the suckers nervous. Lambeau puts out some big slobs .... the big sucker followed my bulldawg to the boat and i almost figure 8'd it. saturday on lake x with Gare ... a monster took a sucker for a chase and gave us some inspiration, but for not. we did enjoy some LaRue Blackberry and a great fall northwoods day. Brad and Mike stayed out an extra 45 min. on friday and from the looks of the pictures posted above, it was worth it .... we bought the pizza. i'll let Lambeau talk about his saturday .... still feeling bad for him

Posts: 22 Location: St James MN | Met my Dad at Mille Lacs on friday and stuck a horse just before sunset, trolling a long finger off a deep reef. Despite half a tail she measured 54x25. Water temps 45 to 43. My dad also picked up a fat 40" Saturday evening ahead of the front. Sunday brought high skies and a forecast of 25 to 40 WNW winds with gusts to 50mph-headed south and finished the wknd trolling west end of 'tonka while listening to Vikes steal one in Meadowlands. Great wknd, best part was sharing the boat with my dad. S. Medin Gray Ghost Tackle Co, LLC Attachments ---------------- 54x25-11-05.jpg (64KB - 52 downloads)

Location: Des Moines IA | Big thanks to A.G. guide service! We went out on Okauchee Saturday. After 7 hours of our best efforts, not a single sighting! Not even on a sucker! Out of 6 other boats we talked to at the launch, 1 guy saw 1 fish caught. I didn't feel so bad after hearing that! Atleast we weren't the only ones! Was a good day none the less, just happy to be out chasing ski's. Good Luck on the Big Pond next weekend A.G.!!!!!

Posts: 20227 Location: oswego, il | Steve, the pleasure was all mine. You are a great host and if I ever win the lottery, your new job is to hunt and fish and prepare it for me to eat! Your grub is the best! I got one little fat pike and that was it. Fished all new water and even though we did not get a musky, the waters looked quite promising indeed!
