Hi guys,
my name is Marco and I write from Italy.
I would like to buy a new Jerkbait Rod for throwing medium size jerk baits.
I fish for pike mostly from a jon boat in small spot around heavy cover so I need a short rod.
I like Falcon rod for bass fishing and so I was thinking about the Falcon Cara Muskie Jerk 6'2" Rod.
I don’t have the opportunity to try this rod because in Italy there are not many muskie rod available.
Someone told me this rod is too soft to fish with jerk. Have you ever try this rod?
Any impression or suggestion even for other model: was thinking at Loomis 6’3” 5oz Muskie Rod.
For pike fishing I don’t want a rod too stiff. Actually I’m using a Loomis 6’5” 3oz Muskie Rod.
Thanks
Marco

Marco,
Falcon makes a series of rods that sound like they will get the job done; how heavy are the lures you will be using?
