Location: Contrarian Island | Well my partner Mike Mousseau (aka Lardonastick) and I hit the water for about 8 hours total on saturday in Iron Co. We started fishing about 8 and at 8:30 I had a nice fish (over 40) nail a bulldawg on the second pull and it promptly got off...I was pissed to say the least...
At about 10 a.m. Mikes clicker went off and we knew it was a musky..hookset, nice battle, fat 35.5 in the net!
We trailered to another lake I had recently been doing well on at 11, started about noon and it was slow! got me worried...My clicker went off and a little one was playing with the sucker and let go..darnit. Mikes clicker went off at about 3 and he set the hook, but it didn't get hooked up..crap! at about 4 I think his clicker went off again...hookset,,nice fight, 36"er in the net...Thunder and lightning chased us off the lake at 4:45pm...2 fish...2 misses...not bad. Big thanks to Mike for putting up with my intensity all weekend and those hammerin hooksets!
How did you do MACK???
