A new IMTT record was set this past weekend with 33 boats registering at Comfort Suites on Friday night. A 7am Ease-Out was held out of Smokies Musky Shop on Pewaukee Lake.

Didn't take long before the first fish was registered by Joel Micheal....a 35+" at about 7:20am. My partner, Rory Tuff, and I followed with a fat 36.75" at about 7:50. Frankie and partner caught a nice 41.5" right after losing a 45"+ boatside. Kevin Mahlberg and son, Zac nailed the first of thier 2 at about 9am...a 36". They Doubled by 11:30 with a 34" for the win.

The afternoon bite was not bad as the front progressed in. A 44.5" by Team of the Year, Gaglioano and Curtis was caught about 1ish. The final fish of the day was caught about 3pm by Bill Ollman and Dan Johnson...a 37.25". Many anglers seeing and losing fish as the front approached.

The Team of the Year, Gagliano and Curtis caught at least one fish in 3 out of the 4 events. They will recieve an exemption in tourny fees for 2006, custom embroydered IMTT Jackets and the #1 Ease out position for all of 2006. Congrats to both of them on a super hot year.

First Place payout was $3000.00
Second was $1,000.00
Third was $500.00
Big fish and Second went to Gagliano and Curtis with a 44.5"

The Sucker bite was on, with 6 of the 7 fish being caught on good ole "Bugle Lips".

A big thanks to all of our sponsors....especially John Laimon from Smokies, The Waterfront for having us and serving up some good food and Joe Herbert from Wood On The Water Tackle Company for dropping an armfull of baits on the table!

Please Visit http://www.ironmanmusky.com for news, pics and updates. The New 2006 Schedule will be available shortly...and there's a very interesting project that will be announced very soon. Something for both our Sponsors and the Anglers!! We have alot of work to do this winter, something my partners and I don't mind one bit. I'd like to thank them for making the 2005 IMTT Season one to remember. We also thank Dan Buss for running our web page and putting up with all of our changes and questions! Dan refused to wear the Blues Clues suit, he made Chitty do it.

A huge thanks again to all of our sponsors, including Muskie First, and the anglers from all of us on the IMTT staff.....

Bill Vierkandt (Blue Bunny)
Rick Hess (Cricket)
Rory (Not So) Tuff
Bill Ollman (The Lurker)
Dan Johnson (The Devil)
John Heibler (The Elf)
Kevin Mahlberg (The Stork)

If any angler took pics during the event, they don't have to be fish pics, please forward them to me for the web page and literature. If I use them in print, I'll give you a "by line".

Thanks for the update Heibs. The IMTT sounds like it has been an overwhelming success with good numbers and some really good fish being taken in almost every event. It's really cool to see pressured water down there pumping out all those fish. CPR definately is working down there. Keep up the good work everyone.

Wow ,what a way to finish the year. I have to admit this was an awesome tournament and a hell of a finish. The adrenline rush was out there on the lake Saturday. I saw the 3rd place team lose a 45+ and in the next minute hook up and land there fish to give them the third place win.

The bite was coming in waves.

Thanks again to all you guys that fished the tournament. We had people from all over coming to this tournament.

The Iron Man is here to stay Baby!!!!

Our sponsors were awesome this year. Fig rig we raffled off a rod Friday and Saturday two more on top of giving away two more fig rigs Saturday. Frabil net, Lures and more Lures. It was crazy and NEXT YEAR WILL EVEN BE CRAZIER!!!

Johnsonville Brats has come on board as a sponsor for next year. They have been great to deal with. They have told us they want to see this thing take off in a big way next year.

We couldn't had done it without you guys and the great sponsor support we have.

Thank you Muskie first for letting us get the word out.

See you on the pond .
