Of cource they weren't all muskies,,, but some were.  Returned from Eagle a few days ago and we had a great time, the weather was a little disappointing (to warm, to sunny, and not much wind). I told Jim B. from MI. we have a couple of areas to try. We went straight to the 1st spot, made a couple of trolling passes, and hit fish right away. We ended up the day with 45 fish from the area both trolling and casting. It was a great start and the entire 8 days went well. We ended up with 197 fish, give or take. Muskies to 46", a couple of 38" pike, walleyes to 29", and a couple of nice 20" small mouth, also 1 surprise lake trout (16lbs). The only bummer was having to come home, I could stay up there till ice no problem! Oh well back to work.  Jerry Borst Spoonplugger, Instructor | |||

| Glad to hear the rest of your spoonplugging trip was a success! It was so bummed we had to leave when we did....(we saw you at the boat landing and you'd just caught 45" walleyes to 29.5")....but hopefully I'll be back up!! Donnie | |||
