mr worrall, out of curiousity, do you know why they scheduled this right in the heat of musky season, and not during the winter off season?? just curious, ive heard there will be a book which is great.

I'm with you, I really dont understand why they would do it in the middle of MY FAVORITE time to fish. But, I guess a weekend to learn what is really the science behind muskie fishing, versus 2 days of muskie fishing, sometimes you have to give up those days.

yeah i hear ya slamr, if i had looked far enough ahead i would have had my buddy take his vacation a differnt week. cash for notes slamr?????

From what I was told and read on the MI board it has to do with when the DNR representatives from a majority of the states are most likely to be available to attend. MI had given them consideration relative to their responsabilities in their annual schedule of resposibilities. Yes it may take a day or two from "our" fishing but would likely to have been a greater imposition on the jobs that these dnr guys tend to thereby creating a greater negative impact. I feel it its as important if not more so to have as many DNR's in attendance as opposed to the common angler for lack of a better term. I do believe there were other minor isses but this was the main one.
