Wondering if people modify the Bulldawg hooks. I was advised to place one hook into the body/tail of the Dawg to keep from hanging. I also thought this costed me a fish or two as the hook set was more difficult. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I shrink tube the split ring and the hook together so it hangs down and doesn't bury into the body. This way the hooks are always exposed, and you get less fouled casts.
