How did you do on the water this weekend? I'll let Slamr talk about our weekend; I had a blast despite the fact the muskies didn't cooperate worth a hoot for us. Lots of opportunity, but nothing in the Frabill.

How'd they hit for you?

We have had a great time this past week. I lost a 10lb + bass trolling a 13 jake to start it off Wensday(Still sick about losing it). This fish engulfed almost the whole bait. 5 minutes later I boat a 38" trolling the same spot. I ended up loosing the bait and confidence after that so I left. Thursday we end up with a 46" trolling deep structure. Nice fish, but had to spend 20 minutes with her before she could swim away. Saturday I go back to the lake and got a 42.5" trolling deep. Sun was setting so I went to buttermilk and got a 41" on a hi fin topwater. Awsome explosion right by the boat.SWEET... Today I went out again and lost two right off the bat throwing jointed baits in the timber. Sun was high and a blue bird day so I trolled deep again. It produced again. Old one eye was 37" and was pissed to see me. This fish went crazy. Can't wait utill next weekend. Going fishing with my Dad....hopefully will put him on a HOG...

hit the bass pond this morning...blanked. stupid fish.

had lunch and went pheasant hunting, dog got sprayed by a skunk.

decided to make the most of it, shot the skunk & whacked off his tail for the hair!

that'll teach him to mess with my dog!!

I went out to my land and did some much neglected work.
Cut up 3 trees that had fallen and blocked my road, but saw more buck sign than I've ever seen in my life. Huge rubs and scrapes all over.
Sat out for a few hours Sat. evening, and had a buck fawn come by and bed down within 15 yards of my stand for an hour. Then he stood up, raised his tail, and ripped a fart that would have made anybody proud. Sounded like a freakin' whoopie cushion.
Another memorable moment in the woods

We went out on Pewaukee Lake on Saturday morning in the hurricane winds. We had two mid 40" follows without any hits. It was a beautiful time to be out on the water with a great friend.

Went out Sunday and was met with unusually warm weather and high ski's. I had a nice fish blow-up on a Suick as I was tuning it then didn't see another fish until mid after noon when the wife hooked a 38" while trolling.
