Has anyone been over to Indiana lately? If so, any luck? The BMF

Yes, I got a 44" today on a sucker and lost 2 more. One casting and another on a sucker.

Indiana fishing has been both good and bad.

Big fish are being caugth, but not many numbers.

Water temps are in the upper 40's to the mid-50's depending on where you are at.

Just a few days ago there was a tourney in which only one fish was caught, a 32.5 incher. So, no fishing is not on fire by any means.

Shallow water are holding lots of fish right now and will continue to hold fish until turnover is complete which should only be in a few days with our lakes being so small.

The only real consistant bit right now is the sucker bite. I have caught fish and have moved lots of fish on Bulldawgs and twitching Jakes in open water. Delong Eels have been really good up shallow. If you have the patience and will to do it, ripping the hell out of bulldawgs in the weeds has been a good producer as well. And when I mean rip, I mean RIP. Out of a dozen casts, maybe only 3 will come back without weeds, but the fish coming in after them are hotter than ever and will commit.

With a few more cool nights, fishing should start to pick up and start to be more consistant.

Once water temps on the main lake hit 50 and below......watch out.

If you need any more info you can contact me at: [email protected]

Hope this helps.
