Saw the post on making planer boards and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or seen any sites on making a sucker holder to be used while you set up the quick strike rig?

My fishing partner bought a sucker stretcher for my boat as a gift (thanks Ben). It was money well spent! $23.99 and works flawless. Immobilizes the sucker while performing surgery. Eliminates the risk of taking a hook while rigging. And most important, reduces stress on the sucker so it is more lively and ready for battle. It will work with any quick strike system and all size suckers (adjustable straps).

If anything you can check it out on-line and get some ideas on building your own. I think he picked it up at R&H.
