Where are you headed this weekend to stick the steel in a muskie's face? Weather across the board looks like Fall has finally arrived, what's your plan for the weekend?

Madison........but the sticks belong to The Badgers because the hockey season opens up this weekend!!
So does my daughter's team. Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays, games on the weekends just like The Badgers, so the Milwaukee to Madison shuttle will be rolling from now until March.
I'll have to fish and hunt mid-week.

Back up to Walker area this weekend to probably start working on the leaf raking, work the dog a bit with grouse, and hopefully get a little casting in. Sounds like a nice weekend to be up north with warmer temps coming and low winds. The BEST time of year to be outside!!

Probably be throwing gliders and possibly some topwater if the fish are at all active. I'm thinking turnover will happen today, or will be very shortly. I have not been up in two weeks and the cold front will keep air temps up there in the 30's today. We'll see...

Maybe a pig will eat Saturday afternoon...

Quick trip up North for two days. Hitting some U.P. water and maybe a Forest county lake or two. Soak some meat and throw some hellhounds.

Heading to Hayward to hit Lac Courte Oreilles on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
Just hope the MI tournament doesn't spook all of the fish ;).
Plan on throwing my prototype rubber glider (Muskie E).
It is a work in progress and needs some tweeking.
Reef hawgs, weighted suicks and a perch trumoil will see a lot of time in the water.
Probably drag a QSR sucker around with us too.
Will be fishing with my brother who I haven't shared a boat with in more than 15 years.
Last time we fished together he stuck (CPR) a "FAT" 44 inch October sow.
Hope we have a replay.

Hey Danny...when you gonna get over here for a couple of days? Gotta get you out on my lake X...Good luck in your tourney as well. It must be nice having some extra time to fish....

It would be nice to nail a fatty this weekend. Seems every time I am not up there, the neighbor catches the big one. couple of weeks ago, he went fishing on a wednesday and nailed a beauty 48" 2 days before I get there. All I get is a 34".... It's NOT FAIR!!

Was planning on fishing the Dairyland Flowage but with all the rain I think that it may be out of the question. Maybe hit a smaller lake like Amacoy or Fireside. Maybe with the fall weather the smaller lakes will turn-over. If that does not work, I will be in the bowstand trying to fill a few tags.

Leaving for Boulder Junction here in a few hours. The long johns & Gortex are packed. Made a couple of quick strike rigs last night, I'm rearing to go! I could care less if it's a blizzard this weekend as long as they're movin....

Andrew is bundling me up and taking me to Southern Wisconsin, though I'm unsure if he's decided on a lake. We have to dig out our cold-weather gear from last winter... or rather I do. This will most likely be my last time on the water until next spring unless a freak warm front moves in.

No fishing this weekend. Picking up my kids tomorrow and having fun with them and the nieghbor kids all weekend. My neighbors were going camping untill they found out my kids are coming, then the kids did not want to go. Pretty funny.

Getting out the 15th weekend, then the rest of the year will be up in the air.

I have my girls this weekend for a nice three day holiday since they are off school Monday. I have been on the road and it will be nice to hang with them. Planning my Michigan trip for next weekend, and then looking to hit WI, MN, and LOTW before ice up if my schedule allows and my funds hold out

I will be fishing one of my old reliable lakes and trying out some of the boat control techniques Steve described in that article Mikie pointed out to me. Thanks, Mikie. I hadn't even noticed the article section there, and there is some great reading there.
