Posts: 507 | Here is a very cool "ADD-On" that we found at the MWC Championship this weekend. It is called: Total Boat Control: Re-Action System We had the opportunity to use this on Friday and Saturday while filming the MWC Championship on the Mississippi River out of Prairie du Chien. Your autopilot foot pedal hooks to the base, which, buy the way, seems to me quite a bit more rugged that the original foot pedal. The unit provides an on-demand burst of power while in continuous-on mode that you can set using the dial on the left. For example, the Minn Kota slider on the right is set to 3, and the ReAction dial on the left is set to ten. When you move the lever to contunuous-on, the minn-kota operates at 3 speed. If you want a "10" burst of power, depress the momentary foot switch, Pow, smooth transition to 10. Let off the switch, smooth drop back to 3. Very cool for wind-gust compensation, quick speed correction errors, and turnarounds without having to adjust the slider bar and readjust back. The unit makes the the pedal heavier and more stationary, and gives it a little more height, which I liked. Also, there are very obvious advantages for those walleye anglers who use their autopilots to pull crawler harnesses, as I do. Also available for most Cable Steer models. http://www.re-actionsystem.com/ Attachments ---------------- tbc1.jpg (49KB - 71 downloads) tbc2.jpg (75KB - 79 downloads)

Posts: 425 Location: Elkhart, IN | I've got the Power Drive and have often thought something like this was needed but never figured I'd see it. Awesome.

Posts: 2037 Location: lansing, il | did they beef up the power drive pedals to make them more durable as well or do you just attach your existing pedal to it?

Posts: 23 | I went to the site and you attach your current pedal to it. They only show 1 place selling it for $259 Canadian which converts to about $222 USD. Regular price is $279 CAD ($240 USD).

Looks like it just attaches to your current PD pedal, pretty sweat concept. I wonder how long until the TM manufactures start adding this feature? How much is $259.00 canadian????
