For those who use one, Do you set the hook right away, or do you try to get over the fish?? Does it matter if you using a bobber or a just straight lining?

As soon as the fish moves away from you, SET THE HOOK. Sometimes they pick it up and don't move, when that happens I put heavy pressure on the fish. This usually gets them to move and then I attempt to break my rod.

I prefer using a bobber, some don't.

If you set the hook right on top of the fish you will have a lower % of hook ups.
