Hi all,
Just wanted to pass along a milestone in my fishing experiences. Starting at 6pm Friday night and finishing 6pm Saturday night my friend Todd Williams (a.k.a. "fishcrazed") and I fished the Webster Lake Musky Club "Ironman". For 24 hours straight we chucked wood and hair to try and catch a musky to add to our log books. Even though the fish were silent most of that time I was fortunate enough to catch my personal best at 11:05pm Friday night. After a superb net job by Todd, this girl taped out at 47.5 inches long and 18 inches in girth! We estimate her to be a 20 pounder. It was long enough to give me "Big Fish" honors as well as second place in the tournament! It will be a treasured fishing memory for me for years to come. Big kudos to Todd for getting me on that fish and being such a good netman and photographer.
Later all,
Steve

Congrats on a great catch, and honors in the tournament. I had one I caught but sadly enough it was before the tournament, though it wouldn't have made much difference LOL.

Stephendawg,
Congrats on your new PB, now it's time to keep bumping the mark higher.
The coolest thing about fishing after dark is when you do get a strike, you always hope that the fish knocking on the other end is just like the one that you caught!!!
You gotta love them muskies!

Nice fish Steve...congrats! Fishing a marathon can be rough but they do pay off! I've done it a couple times myself. When we meet up again on Vermilion next year we'll have to go out together and see if we can add to that personal best. My personal best, so far, came on Vermilion that week...48 1/2".

Good luck and we'll see you then!
