Location: NeverNever Lake | A great reel! Went over to Cabelas Sunday and got one...my opinion so far after 2 days on the water....
Very smooth!
Casts like a dream!
The best centrifigal braking system I've ever used
I had to try to get an over-run
It makes a little more noise on the cast than my CTE400 but doesn't seem to matter much
very light/comfortable
super smooth drag
the only issue I could even find was the free-spool button wouldn't dis-engauge under too much line pressure
the freespool button is designed for either a one or two hand operation
I threw Tripple D, LLungen Tail, 9 and 10" Suicks, 10" Cobbs and my FatCats and it handle them with ease
Only time will tell, but so far so good,,,,,
Anyone else have this reel?

| Best reel going right now... hands down!
2 years with mine and I have tortured that reel trying to blow it out. I can't.
I won't fish anything else. |

| Does the smaller size20 have a bait clicker as well? Does the levelwind engage on the cast? Thanks, Ben |

Location: Toronto, ON | Guys, what's the drag like on this reel and is the gear ratio too high (5.7:1) for some techniques? The TackleTour review for the reel indicates that it's good but I'd appreciate hearing your experience with the reel.
Thanks,
JT |
