I'll be fishing up in the Perrault Falls area in the next couple weeks, and wanted to scout out a few lodges on Eagle for a possible '06 trip. Will drive to Andy Myer's to get the "dime tour", but also wanted to boat in to Century Island / Osbourne Bay.
What's the easiest way to get to Century (closest public boat landing)? In Looking at my FHS map of Eagle, it would appear to be Landing "D", located on Century Rd, between Rice Bay and North Bay. Anyone ever used this landing before? I was led to believe that this was not a public landing, but it definitely appears to be the closest to Osbourne.
I think the folks at Century have their own private landing, but this will not be available to me, if I'm just stopping in to take a tour. (I think they have the road chained off or something).
Any info on the best way to get there?
