Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Get ready to pony up some more casholla fellas...St.Croix has raised the prices of thier rods for 2006, in some cases by $30.00. The 8' Premier is now rated for 3oz, but carries a $160.00 price tag, the 8' Avid is unchanged at $260.00....ouch.
The entire Premier line has been re-worked with the 6-0 being replaced by a 6-3 XH with a 3-8oz rating. There's also a 6-9 with a 3-8oz rating. The 7-0 and 7-6 both have up to a 6oz rating.
Nothing was done with the Avid line. St.Croix will be introducing an IMPORTED line for this season that will not be Musky orientated. All rods without Lifetime Waranty's will carry a 5 year warranty now...so that's cool. |

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | The Fig Rig is lighter...St.Croix can't sit on its @ss while other companies stand up. I just sent in my order for the 6-3 and the 6-9. I was hoping they'd do this to the Avid, but no. |
