Location: Munster, IN | Could be the latest fad? Body peircings with teble hooks! I felt like Dennis Rodman after this happenned. Fortunatley we just cut the barbs and pushed it on threw. I might add with a little help from Jose Cuervo! Attachments ---------------- OUCH.jpg (188KB - 150 downloads)

| Ouch! Be careful with that one, looks like there is a little rust on the hooks. | |||

Posts: 2893 Location: Yahara River Chain | As a rule, body piercing should not be done below the neck on a man. This clearly looks likes you violated the rule. Shame on you! That even looks like it might hurt. I'm guessing that you being the macho man you are, it felt like a mosquito bite? Am I right?

| I love these pictures, especially when it's not my hand. Rub a little dirt on it and keep fishing. | |||

Location: Munster, IN | I was lucky, it really didn't hurt that bad. The damage could have been a lot worse. There was a 30" pike on the other end that shook the hook as it went in me. That isn't rust but rather the lacquer or coating that is on new hooks. It was a brand new bait just out of the package. We just landed and released a 42 " musky a few minutes prior. We reset our trolling boards and wham the pike hit and it took me down with him. God do I hate snakes!

Posts: 656 Location: Forest Lake, Mn. | Muskie teeth don't scare me. Muskies hooked to a lure and then hooked to my hand scare the *&^$ out of me. I hope your tetnus (sp?) shots are up to date. But it seems that it's the small fish that are most likly to nail you.

| I took a good licking from a 30" pike too on saturday!!! even caught it on film. worst part is, i was telling the lil' SOB not to bite me after i cut the hooks out. thank god there was only 1 hook to get me, all the other ones were cut off. got me good though, still throbbin today. if i figure out a way to get my adventures posted on the web, i'll start putting links up so everyone else can laugh at me, not just my family! | |||
