I fish Illinois and Wisconsin for now. What would be the best single navigation chip I can get for my new Lowrance 3600c? I am trying to avoid buying multiple chips. Navonics? Lakemaster? Hotspots?

There isn't one single chip that will cover both Wisconsin and Illinois. The Navionics Premium North covers ND, SD, MN, IA, WI and MI. You would need the Premium East chip to cover IL waters.

Lakemaster makes a WI chip. But I don't believe that they have an IL chip. So unfortunately, if you're looking to cover yourself in both states, there's no one chip solution.
