I have 2 Abu 5600 C4 Winch reels. (3.8:1 ratio) I would like to convert them to 5.3:1 ratio. Is this cost effective? If so, does anyone know of a reel guy who can do the coversion?

I will be calling Abu Service Center and asking if they will do it. I've only sent stuff there for repairs in the past.

Very simple job to do. You can do it yourself or send it, either way it's only a case of swapping a couple if gears over.
