| Hello I know they make these spinnerbait soft tackle bags for smaller bass ones, do they make one for muskie? I am talking of the canvas ones with the plastic bags attached to a binder so to speak. Would only need to hold 7-12 baits...thanks for any info...Ben | |||

Posts: 2378 | I use a Denny Brauer Bag that I got from Cabelas. They were on sale when I got them...not sure if they are still selling them. Most of the mfg's make a "Magnum" bag that works pretty good for big spinnerbaits. Go to Cableas and search for Denny Brauer...looks like they are sold out of the Magnum though Edited by BALDY 5/17/2005 10:15 AM

Posts: 1293 Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I picked up a TACKLE LOGIC from Gander Mountain. It's the magnum model with bags measuring 8x8. It came with 5 bags and about a dozen attaching strips. I believe the cost was about $12.

It is a soft pack, that folds in half and has a dozen pockets that you put your spinnerbaits in. This way you open it up flat and see all your choices. You don't have to page through all the individual bags. I have been using the Tackle Logic binder idea for a few years, and this new Soft Pack is way COOL!!!! I will try to post pictures, otherwise send me an email and I will send you pictures. These new Packs will be selling for $39.95 and were designed by Muskie Guys! Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | They are in production right now, I will check to see how soon they will have them in quantity. I am going to pick one up for myself and BenR, in a couple of weeks. They are made up at Lake Vermilion, MN. They are 18 1/2 x 13 1/2 and 2 inches thick when closed, and they are said to FLOAT! I will try to test that feature out, in shallow water first. With it loaded full of 1 to 3 oz. baits, we will see what happens.

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | ACE (Terry) could ship them now. Give him a call if you would like to get one. Tomcat asked about the pockets holding water -- sounds like between the fabric and foam pad, the water is allowed to soak out the back side. And plenty of air is allowed in. So rust should not be an issue. It wouldn't hurt to hang those used lures out to drip for a while before putting them away. Steve

Posts: 1185 Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | Shimano makes one, I bought extra pouches for it. I keep all my single hook spinner baits, twister tails and storm jigs in it. It is the best thing for spinnerbaits that I have found. Bought it at Bob's Bait in Green Bay. Edited by Jomusky 5/19/2005 8:32 AM

You can call, or e-mail me if you'd like more info on the new spinnerbait pacs. I also have one for hard baits up to 12" long.
