Looking for a handheld GPS that can take navonics cards i believe they are the MMC cards?

What are some that are out there?

I fish LOTW exclusively the NWA portion, what card is best for this area?

Thanks

lOWRANCE has a nice one--the name slips my mind @ the moment but it ends in "pro". It handles the navionics MMC cards and I have it (somewhere) and it works well. Good idea to have it as a backup GPS in case the boat's GPS dies or your battery does. Bring along plenty of extra batteries for the handheld as well as they do tend to eat 'em up although the "pro" is much better w/ battery life than it's predecessors.

Get the Lowrance I-Finder Hunt. The two other versions are the H2O and the Pro. The H2O and the Hunt are waterproof, the Pro is not. They all take the Navionics and Lowrance Lakemaster cards. Plus, you can get Map Create Software and get all of the city, county, and state roads. Plus, you can create maps and manipulate saved data. The Hunt retails for around $300 and the H2O is around $230. The only difference between the Hunt and the H2O is that the Hunt has a digital compass and an altimeter. The cards will run from $100 (Lowrance Lakemaster) to $200 (Navionics Premium) depending on what you want/need. The Navionics cards come in four regions, North, South, East, and West. The North region includes Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The Lakemaster chips are available for the state of Minnesota, the state of Wisconsin, Lake of the Woods/Crow/Shoal, and a few others. Generally the Lakemaster chips will have more detailed maps than Navionics, but fewer lakes. I hope this helps.
