I guy that works with my wife caught a 52" ski on 6# line this weekend. He was bummed because he thinks that it would have been a line class record. Jig head and minnow was what she fell for. I asked if he got any pictures before he let it go, and she said that his friend took one with his phone. If it turns out, I'll try to get it to post.

I doubt that fish was be even a WI state line class record. Most of the WI musky line class records are 50 pounds or better. Or at least really close to 50.

If the fish was caught in Wisconsin, the season is closed and wouldn't count has a record anyway.

Jimbo, "would have been" is in that post. I think he knew that it was out of season.
