Shelbyville was slow and erratic, but a few nice muskies were caught by members of our club. We spent 3 days trolling looking for baitfish and caught two muskies, 43 and 36. Great weather with mid 70s air temperatures Friday and Saturday and mid 80s yesterday. Water temperatures ranged from 57 to 62. Quite the contrast from my first trip of the year Easter weekend fishing in the cold rain, sleet, and snow HA HA

Location: Munster, IN | Lake Y was incredible. Put a couple in the boat and saw an obscene number of fish up next to the boat. Chasing the 8's too.

Location: Athens, Ohio | I fished with Mauser at a new, little lake in West by God Virginia. I guess the lake's not such a secret, lots of crappie and bass guys there. We took a leasurely tour of the 300-odd acres and sized up a few real good spots that were marking a bunch of bait fish, no muskies but Mauser got a real decent largemouth on his shallow invader. Good news is I got to try out some more of my baits. The two pink Beaver bucktails are right outta my dreams - spinner spins great and the color can be seen by satellites. I was a bit scared a couple weeks ago when I tied out my newly-remade Muskie Treats and it didn't work like it used to - turns out I was using too thin a wire leader. Put the big titanium on and Bubba was back - in style. My wrist still gave out early again but not as bad as last time, just gonna take more rehab and casting. What a great day on the water! m

Went out saturday to a lake that normally isn't good this time of year looking for a pig and didn't get a thing. Sunday I went to a lake that is normally good for a half day and got a 45.5 went 27#, with a 32 and a 31"er. Jason Bond

Posts: 1245 Location: Madtown, WI | On monday I was traveling for work, got my work done and was able to hit a little lake in Western IL called lake george.....Much to my suprise I had a 41 incher eat my brand new weagle....I was lucky to land the sucker since I was so shocked (after only 2o minutes of fishing) that I was pretty late in the hookset....but got her none the less! Slime early! Got to love it! My boat partner showed up about a half hour after I caught the fish...nothing rest of the day but he had a little one swipe his topwater right before we left. Water was murky and 68-71 F Cory
