My cousin's 3 yo son was killed yesterday. Mom was on the phone and he went out to play. He went into the car and somehow got it into neutral. When it started to roll, he bailed out and the car ran over him. When mom went out to see what he was doing, he was dead. I don't know any more than that.
Hug your kids tight, guys.
Someday, I'm going to ask God why it's necessary for kids to die.

I lost a son in an accident when he was 10. Never seems fair, that's for sure. Heartfelt condolences for the family.

That is very sad. Being a new father things like that are very scary to me, since he was born one of the most important things for me has been to do whatever I have to do to keep him from harm.

My heart goes out to you and your family.

Very sad and my thoughts are with your family.

Just before 7am this morning officers from my police department responded to a call where a mother was feeding her 3 week old baby in bed, fell asleep, rolled over on the baby and suffocated it. The first officer on scene did CPR, but it was too late.

Deaths like these happen all to often and most could have been prevented.

Thank you, everyone. Having a little 3 yo girl myself, it really does hit close. She used to play with him at the family gatherings.
I don't know any more than yesterday, except that funeral plans have been made.
Thanks again.

Brain, this is terrible. I hope your family pulls together over this tragety. I have 3 sons, I cannot fathom what it would be like to lose one of them.

I,too, would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Having recently lost my wife I understand the shock and grief that is your world. Nothing makes sense and God seems so distant. Why must God call the young home so early? We can never know. but it's our faith in him that keeps us going even when we feel like quitting. May he hold you in his arms in the coming days at will seem so dark and give you his peace.

Paul
