Hi,
What is the difference between external and internal antennas? I'm looking on ebay and there are 2 identical models except they have different antennas. I'm think I should get the internal so I don't have to mess w/ mounting the external one. Any reason I should get the external one?

I have a Garmin 162 with an internal antenna, and I bought it for the same reason. Lack of room for mounting and ease of installation. I haven't had a problem picking up a signal.

I decided to go with the Garmin 172. Found a good deal on ebay.
