Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | The Shawnee Muskie Hunters is pleased to host the annual LAKE KINKAID CLEAN UP. We invite all voulunters to join us during Earth Week and help clean up our environment. Anyone with a boat, canoe, kayak, pontoon, or just thier 2 feet is encouraged to attend. The date is SUNDAY APRIL 24, 2005 @10:00 am and will end @1:00. The voulunteers will go out on the lake and clean trash and other objects from the shoreline. The Shawnee Muskie Hunters is the host of this event, but we encourage all local fishing clubs, outdoor users, and any one else who utilizes the "hidden gem" of Southern Illinois, Lake Kinkaid. We will have refreshments after the event is finished. Last year we had 7 boats and collected about 900lbs of trash. Lets make this year even bigger. We have items for raffle including a $100 gift certificate to Tom's Place (French Cuisine in Desoto).

Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | Thanks for the help everyone. It looks like there will be a good turn out. We are still tyring to work out a BBQ and possible donations for the participants. The IDNR, KAWP, Muskies Inc, Friends of Kinakid Lake, Murphysboro Water Management, and the EPA have already helped us out greatly.

| Frabill said they would donate some lure retreivers for the event, and I think some of the old "lucky" Frabill hats. I will get them to you once they arrive!!

Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | Frabill has donated 4 lure retrievers for the clean up. A special thanks to Chad Cain Muskie Guide Service for helping out. We are still looking for more voulunters. If you are on the lake on Sunday please help out. No fish will hit from 10 to 1 anyways.
