I am trying to gain as much knowledge on musky presentations, trigging strikes and CPR.
I have heard about adding a split O-ring to the eye of certain lures for better action.
Please advise which lures you recommend adding the additional split O-ring? Thanks.

I use split rings to connect all of my baits to my leaders. I do this to eliminate the snaps on my leaders, I have seen too many of them fail to trust them.

If you are going to use snaps there are certain baits that seem to like having a split ring in front to improve their action. Most twitch and crankbaits fit in this category, along with gliders.
