Let's say I am trolling 2MPH with 50', 75' and 100' of line out. I am trolling with a jointed Depth Raider and then switch to a 10" Jake. How deep am I getting in all 6 of those situations? Typical thin wire leader and 80lb. Tuff line Plus.

I know that there's a trolling book out for walleye that shows the depth of the lure to the distance of out with line lb test. Does anyone know if there's a muskie book like that on the shelf?

Who trolls 2mph? That a different story....In my opionion the only way to truely know how deep any given lure is diving with a certain amount of line....is find a relatively hard clean bottom and test .... if the jake does not hit bottom in 14 feet but does in 12 you just determined its running approx. 13 Dont ask me why but I have one 8" jake that runs a 1-2 feet deeper than most...anyway lets go cast
