was wondering what the quickest route to lake kinkaid is from rockford IL mapquest says 6 1/2 hours does that seem right to you? any help would be appreciated

That would seem right, I think you come straight down and then catch 57 around champain if i can recall....the drive is very very boring...

6 1/2 sounds right if you keep stops to a minimum.
